BMW i8 Spyder Concept Car Concept Award North America this year as quoted inautonews.
The jury consisted of 24 automotive journalists to assess 34 models of vehicles that have been introduced at the Auto Show in Los Angeles this season, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto and New York.
According to organizers, the criteria have to be concept cars carrying passengers.
Traditionally, this award went to a car model that has a futuristic design.
"With the curve of its body, reminds me of ice water in mountain streams. BMW i8 bring the driver into a new world full of environmentally friendly, with a mission of ultimate driving machine is built," says jury member Bill Schaffer.
Other jurors said Chris Poole, "BMW i8 is an impressive blending of stylish super cars, speed and low emissions."
Concept Cars of North America awards this year to analyze the design, style, materials, technology, market viability and market response.
